Description

The Cisco 8011-2X2XP4L is a fixed Private Line Emulation (PLE) service endpoint router from the Cisco 8010 family, part of the Cisco 8000 Series routers. It is designed for carrying private-line services such as legacy TDM circuits across an EVPN-VPWS packet network.

This variant provides 2x 10G PLE ports, 2x 10G Ethernet ports and 4x SFP56 ports supporting 25G and 50G speeds. The PLE ports operate with the optics controller in CEM packet mode, which is how the private-line traffic is encapsulated for transport over the packet core.

It is supported from Cisco IOS XR 7.11.1 and can be viewed in Chassis View when managed with Cisco Evolved Programmable Network Manager (EPNM) 7.1.1.
