Description

The StoreFabric SN3600B is a 1U Gen6 Fibre Channel SAN switch from the HPE B-series range, built on Brocade technology. This 24/8 model suits entry-level and mid-sized SAN fabrics, virtualisation, cloud and flash-based storage environments that need a dense switch with room to grow.

The switch has 24 Fibre Channel ports in total, with 8 ports active and 16 more available through Ports-on-Demand licence upgrades, applied with hot code load and no downtime. It supports both 16Gb and 32Gb Fibre Channel SFP+ transceivers and delivers up to 768 Gbps of aggregate bandwidth with 900 ns port-to-port latency. Management is covered by SNMP, SMI-S, SSH, HTTPS and LDAP, with Role-Based Access Control and Trusted Switch security.

It works with 16Gb and 32Gb Fibre Channel SFP+ optics and is interoperable with Brocade-based fabrics.
