Description

The Arista 7020SR-24C2 is a 1RU data centre switch from the 7020R Series, built for high-density 10G top-of-rack and leaf deployments. It suits big data, cloud, virtualised and hyper-converged racks, as well as media and video streaming workloads where traffic arrives in bursts.

This SKU provides 24 x 10GbE SFP+ ports and 2 x 100GbE QSFP100 uplinks, with 880 Gbps of throughput, a 300 Mpps forwarding rate and latency from 3.8 us. A 3 GB packet buffer with a VOQ architecture absorbs bursts and avoids head-of-line blocking. This is the front-to-rear airflow model with 2 x AC hot-swap power supplies, drawing around 95 W typical and 105 W at maximum.

The SFP+ ports accept 10G SFP+ optics and DACs, and the two uplink ports accept 100G QSFP100 optics and DACs. The switch runs Arista EOS, the same operating system used across the Arista range.
