Description

This 32GB DDR4-3200 registered ECC DIMM is a Cisco UCS memory module for server memory upgrades and expansion. It is a Cisco-qualified option for UCS C-Series rack servers and B-Series blade servers, and the HyperFlex equivalent is sold under the HX-MR-X32G2RW part number. It suits virtualisation, database and general data-centre workloads on M5 and M6 generation systems.

The module runs at 3200 MT/s (PC4-25600) in a 288-pin RDIMM form factor. It is dual rank x4 (2Rx4, listed by Cisco as DRx4) and built from 8Gb DRAM devices, operating at 1.2V. Registered ECC design provides server-class reliability. The 32GB capacity can be mixed with 16GB and 64GB RDIMMs in a balanced configuration as described in the Cisco M5 memory guide.
