Description

The UCS X-Series 15.3TB E3.S 1T NVMe SSD is a hot-pluggable solid state drive built on Kioxia CM7-R Gen 5 media. It is designed for Cisco UCS X-Series compute nodes that need high-capacity, read-intensive NVMe storage with self-encrypting, FIPS-capable security.

The drive offers 15.3TB of capacity in the E3.S 1T (EDSFF) form factor over a PCIe Gen 5 NVMe interface. It is rated at 1 drive write per day (1DWPD), placing it in the Enterprise Value, read-intensive endurance class. As a Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) with FIPS support, it suits deployments where data-at-rest protection is a requirement. The drive is supplied mounted in a drive sled.

This drive is listed as an orderable option on the Cisco UCS X215c M8 Compute Node, which supports one to eight E3.S 1T NVMe drives.
