Description

This 200GB Enterprise Performance solid-state drive is a 6Gbps SAS option for the Cisco UCS C3160 rack server. It suits the SAS SSD caching and tiering layer in the C3160, a 4RU high-density platform used for object stores, software-defined storage such as Ceph and Swift, Microsoft Exchange, media streaming, backup and archival.

The drive offers 200GB of capacity over a 6Gbps SAS interface and is rated in the Enterprise Performance class. It is built for the top-accessible, hot-swappable drive bays of the UCS C3160, where fast SSDs sit alongside high-capacity NL-SAS drives. Power is supplied from the chassis, so no separate drive power connection is needed.

It works with the Cisco UCS C3160 Rack Server, which is based on Intel Xeon E5-2600 v2 processors and uses either the embedded Cisco 12-Gbps RAID controller or the SAS HBA rail controller. The server is managed through the Cisco Integrated Management Controller (CIMC).
