Description

This 1.9TB E3.S 1T NVMe solid-state drive is built for Cisco UCS X-Series compute nodes, specifically the UCS X210c M8. It is based on the Kioxia CM7-R read-intensive drive and suits boot, virtualisation and database workloads where data-at-rest security matters.

The drive uses a PCIe Gen 5 NVMe interface in the E3.S form factor and is rated at 1 drive write per day (1DWPD). It is a self-encrypting drive with FIPS support, which makes it a fit for security-sensitive deployments. It sits in the same family as the 3.8TB, 7.6TB and 15.3TB capacities, so this 1.9TB model is the entry capacity point for the range.

NVMe drives in the X210c M8 require the UCSX-X10C-PT4F-D pass-through controller or the UCSX-X10C-RAIDF-D RAID front mezzanine.
