Description

This 1.6TB E3.S 1T NVMe solid-state drive is built for Cisco UCS X-Series modular compute nodes. It is a hot-swappable EDSFF drive with a PCIe Gen5 interface, described as a Samsung PM1745-based, high-performance, high-endurance model, and suits workloads that need fast local NVMe storage with optional data-at-rest protection.

The drive is rated in the 3X endurance class and supports TCG Opal self-encryption. It uses the E3.S form factor in the 1T thickness and is powered from the compute node front mezzanine. For configuration-specific power figures, the Cisco UCS Power Calculator is the reference tool.
