Description

This 7.6TB hot-swappable 2.5-inch U.3 NVMe SSD is built for Cisco UCS X-Series compute nodes. It uses the Micron 7500 platform, positioned as a high-performance, medium-endurance drive, and suits virtualisation, database and software-defined storage workloads that need fast local storage.

The drive has a 15mm height and is rated at 1X DWPD (one drive write per day). As the FIPS self-encrypting variant, it is the choice for environments that require encrypted drives. It is the FIPS counterpart to the non-FIPS UCSX-NVB7T6M2V, so the 7.6TB, FIPS and Medium Endurance 1X attributes are what set this SKU apart.

It is supported in the UCS X210c M8 compute node and is listed for the UCS X215c M8. A front mezzanine adapter is required: UCSX-X10C-PT4F-D, UCSX-X10C-RAIDF-D or UCSX-RAID-M1L6, with up to 6 NVMe drives per X210c M8 node. Do not mix with E3.S drives in the same front mezzanine configuration.
