Description

The AMD Pollara 1Q400P is a single-port 400GbE network adapter built on the AMD Pensando Pollara 400 AI NIC. It is aimed at AI and machine learning clusters where GPU servers need high-bandwidth, low-latency networking, either as a front-end North-South adapter or as an East-West GPU back-end adapter.

The card provides one 400GbE QSFP112 port and connects to the host over a PCIe Gen5 x16 interface. It uses a half-height, half-length (HHHL) form factor, so it fits single-slot NIC positions in dense GPU servers. The QSFP112 cage requires matching QSFP112 optics or cables for 400GbE links.

It is listed as a supported NIC in the Cisco UCS C845A M8 rack server, which hosts up to 8 GPUs in a 4RU chassis.
