Description

This 128GB DDR5-6400 registered ECC DIMM is a Cisco UCS M8 memory module for GPU-accelerated AI servers. The UCSAI- part number is the version ordered with the Cisco UCS C880A M8 AI rack server, where fully populating the 32 DIMM slots gives up to 4 TB of system memory.

The module is a 2Rx4 RDIMM built on 32Gb DRAM density, running at 1.1V and DDR5-6400 MT/s. ECC and registered buffering provide the data integrity expected in server-class platforms, and the high-capacity 32Gb DRAM suits memory-intensive AI workloads.

The same 128GB 2Rx4 32Gb module is listed as UCS-MR128G2RG5 on other UCS M8 servers. Modules based on 32Gb DRAM cannot be mixed with 16Gb or 24Gb DRAM-based DIMMs in the same server.
