Description

The UCS-SDB1T9OA1P is a 1.9TB hot-pluggable 2.5-inch, 15mm SATA 6Gb/s solid state drive for Cisco UCS servers. It is built on the Solidigm D3-S4620 and sits in Cisco's Enterprise Performance class with 3X endurance, aimed at write-centric workloads such as caching, OLTP, data warehousing and VDI.

The drive uses 144-layer TLC 3D NAND behind a SATA 6Gb/s interface. Sequential throughput reaches up to 550 MB/s read and 510 MB/s write, while 4KB random performance reaches up to 91,000 read IOPS and 53,000 write IOPS. It mounts in a UCS drive sled and draws power from the server drive bay backplane, so no separate power connection is needed.

This drive is listed as a supported option in the Cisco UCS C220 M7, C240 M7 and C240 M8 rack server spec sheets. The equivalent SKU with the -M6 suffix covers M6 generation servers such as the C220 M6 and C245 M6.
