Description

This 7.6 TB NVMe solid state drive is built for Cisco UCS servers and compute nodes that use E3.S 1T drive bays. It is a high-performance, medium-endurance Gen5 drive based on the Kioxia KCD8XPJE family, suited to read-intensive and mixed-workload storage in UCS X-Series compute nodes, UCS C-Series rack servers and hyperconverged deployments.

The drive offers 7.6 TB of capacity in the dense EDSFF E3.S 1T form factor with an NVMe interface and a medium-endurance rating of 1X drive writes per day (DWPD). It includes the SIE SCEF security option and is not a self-encrypting drive. Drives are hot-pluggable, and a UCS X210c M8 compute node can hold up to nine E3.S drives.
