Description

This is a 48GB registered DDR5-5600 RDIMM for Cisco UCS M7 servers, built for memory upgrades and builds in C220 M7 and C240 M7 rack servers and X210c M7 compute nodes. It suits virtualisation, database and general enterprise workloads where extra memory capacity is needed.

The module uses a single-rank x4 (1Rx4) organisation with 24Gb DRAM, runs at 1.1V and includes on-die ECC. It is rated for DDR5-5600 MT/s and runs at the CPU memory controller maximum, between 4400 and 5600 MT/s on 5th Gen Intel Xeon processors. Only one DIMM per channel is supported, with 8 memory channels per CPU. A 1-CPU server takes 1, 6 or 8 DIMMs and a 2-CPU server takes 2, 12 or 16 DIMMs.

This DIMM is only valid on servers with 5th Gen Intel Xeon CPUs and is not supported with the 3508U, 4509Y, 4510 and 4510T processors. It cannot be mixed with other DIMM capacities, with DIMMs based on 16Gb or 32Gb DRAM, or with x8 DIMMs.

Q: Which servers and CPUs does this memory work with?
A: It is for Cisco UCS C220 M7, C240 M7 and X210c M7 servers fitted with 5th Gen Intel Xeon CPUs. It is not supported with 4th Gen CPUs or with the 5th Gen 3508U, 4509Y, 4510 and 4510T processors.

Q: Can I mix this DIMM with other memory capacities?
