Description

This 650W AC power supply is a hot-swappable plug-in module for the Cisco VG420 analog voice gateway. It is the primary AC supply for the VG420, a 2RU rack-mount gateway that connects analog phones and fax lines to IP telephony.

The module accepts 100-240 VAC auto-ranging input at 50-60 Hz, so it suits power sources in any region. The VG420 system draws up to 389 W with the AC supply, with maximum input current between 8.2 A and 3.4 A depending on the input voltage. This is the base AC supply for the chassis. A second supply, PWR-VG420-650WAC2, can be fitted alongside it to provide redundancy and reduce downtime from a power-supply failure.

It is designed for the VG420-144FXS, VG420-132FXS/6FXO and VG420-84FXS/6FXO models. The DC equivalent for these gateways is PWR-VG420-650WDC.
