Description

The Catalyst 9162I is an indoor Wi-Fi 6E access point from the Cisco Catalyst 9162 series, built for general-purpose enterprise deployments with ceiling or wall mounting. It uses internal antennas and is managed through a Catalyst controller.

The tri-band design provides 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz radios with 2x2 MU-MIMO, for up to 3.9 Gbps tri-radio aggregate frame rate. A dedicated scanning radio supports security and RF management, and a Bluetooth Low Energy / IoT radio and a USB 2.0 connector are included. This SKU carries the ROW (Rest of World) regulatory domain, so check that it suits your country of operation before deployment.

Software capabilities include real-time RF spectrum view, full-time Wi-Fi location tracking and 802.1X with Active Directory integration.
