FAQs

Q: Does this switch require a subscription license?
A: No. It is a smart managed platform with no recurring license required.

Q: Can I use 1G fiber uplinks to connect to another switch over distance?
A: Yes. The four SFP slots accept standard 1G SFP transceivers such as 1000BASE-SX or 1000BASE-LX for short or long reach over LC fiber.

Q: Does it support inter-VLAN routing?
A: Yes. It supports basic Layer 3 static routing for inter-VLAN routing without dynamic routing protocols.

Q: Is hardware stacking supported?
A: No hardware stacking. Multiple units can be centrally managed but operate as standalone switches.

Q: Can I prioritize voice traffic?
A: Yes. Use Voice VLAN and QoS (DSCP/CoS) to prioritize real-time traffic.
