Description

The 710P is a fanless, compact Layer 3 managed PoE switch with 12 x 1G PoE ports, 2 x 5G PoE ports, 2 x 5G data ports and 2 x 10G SFP+ uplinks, running Arista EOS. It ships with a 280W external power adapter that provides a 230W PoE budget, making it well suited to conference rooms, retail areas, broadcast control rooms and small enclosures where silent operation and a small footprint matter. Multiple mounting options and support for cloud or on-premises management make it straightforward to deploy at the campus edge.

A: With the 280W external power adapter (PWR-280-ADP) the switch provides a 230W PoE budget. The 12 x 1G ports deliver up to 30W each and the two mGig PoE ports deliver up to 60W each.

Q: Does this switch have a fan?
A: No. The 710P is fanless, so it operates silently and suits meeting rooms, retail areas and control rooms.

Q: What uplink options are available?
A: Two 1/10G SFP+ ports provide fibre or DAC uplinks, and the mGig RJ45 ports support 1G to 5G copper connections.
