Description

The 9861 is a Gigabit SIP IP desk phone from the Cisco Desk Phone 9800 Series, fitted with a 5-inch backlit colour LCD, 10 physical line keys and built-in dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2. This First Light (white) model includes the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radio, a 2-port Gigabit Ethernet switch for the LAN and a co-located PC, and runs on 802.3af PoE. It registers to Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex Calling and Open SIP platforms, making it a flexible endpoint for offices, hot desks and wireless-first deployments.

A: Yes. The DP-9861-L-K9 includes dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2, so it can connect wirelessly and pair with Bluetooth headsets.

Q: How is the phone powered?
A: It supports IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (Class 3), so a PoE switch or injector can power it over the LAN cable. Cisco Power Adapter 3 can also be used, which allows more key expansion modules.
