Description

The Cisco Desk Phone 9841 is an entry-level VoIP desk phone in Carbon Black with NFC, running Cisco PhoneOS. It features a 3.5-inch backlit grayscale display, 4 line keys and a 2-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with PC pass-through, powered by IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 2. It suits hybrid, home and office deployments and registers to Cisco CUCM, Webex Calling, BroadWorks and open SIP platforms. This is the standard non-TAA model with NFC.

A: It registers to Cisco CUCM, Webex Calling, BroadWorks and open SIP platforms.

Q: How is the phone powered?
A: It is powered by IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 2, or by a local Cisco power adapter. A PoE-capable switch port is all that is needed for most deployments.

Q: Does it support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or key expansion modules?
A: No. The Desk Phone 9841 has no built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and does not support key expansion modules (KEM). It connects over wired Ethernet.

Q: Can a PC share the phone's network connection?
A: Yes. The 2-port internal Gigabit Ethernet switch provides PC pass-through, so a computer can connect through the phone using a single network drop.

Q: Can the phone be wall mounted?
A: Yes. It can be wall mounted using the optional wall mount kit (DP-9800-WMK=).
