The 8812 is a 12-slot modular router chassis in the Cisco 8800 Series, built on Cisco Silicon One for high-capacity service-provider and web-scale core and edge routing. It supports 100GbE and 400GbE line cards with redundant route processors, fabric cards, power supplies and fans for carrier-grade availability. Hot-swappable line cards and fans allow in-service maintenance and capacity growth in large core and edge deployments.
