Description

The 8608-SYS is the base 8-slot centralized router chassis from the Cisco 8000 Series, built on the Cisco Silicon One Q200 ASIC and delivering 12.8 Tbps of system bandwidth in a 7RU form factor. It supports eight Modular Port Adapter slots with native speeds from 10G to 400G, making it well suited to carrier-grade core and aggregation deployments. This SKU is the bare chassis only, without the redundant or non-redundant bundle options, so route processors, switch cards, port adapters and power modules are selected separately to suit the deployment.
