Description

The NVIDIA LinkX MFS1S00-H130V is a VCSEL-based QSFP56 multi-mode active optical cable for 200Gb/s InfiniBand HDR and 200GbE links. It carries a QSFP56 connector on each end and is built for data-centre and HPC links between InfiniBand HDR switches, adapters and systems where distances run beyond passive copper reach. It also suits 200GbE links between SN3700 and SN4600 switches.

This SKU is the 130m length. It runs 4 x 50Gb/s PAM4 over 850nm multi-mode fibre, with SFF-8665 compliant QSFP56 connectors at both ends. Power comes from a single 3.3V supply, drawing 4.8W typical and 5.0W maximum per end with retiming on all lanes, and the cable is rated for an operating case temperature of 0 to 70 C.

The cable is hot pluggable and uses an SFF-8636 compliant I2C management interface with digital diagnostic monitoring. It is intended for NVIDIA and Mellanox 200Gb/s InfiniBand HDR systems with QSFP56 ports.
