Description

Short‑run MPO‑12 OM4 trunk for SR4 parallel‑optic links up to 100/200G. Built with bend‑insensitive 50/125 µm fiber and low‑loss MPO connectors to preserve 850 nm link margins in top‑of‑rack and row‑to‑row connections. The 5 m blue, Type‑B assembly provides clean, fast turn‑ups between SR4 transceivers or MPO cassettes in high‑density environments.

Features

Optimized for short‑reach SR4 parallel‑optic links up to 200G
- OM4 bend‑insensitive fiber for robust handling and routing
- Low‑loss MPO‑12 terminations maintain 850 nm link budgets
- Type‑B polarity ensures correct lane alignment
- Plug‑and‑play integration with SR4 transceivers and MPO panels

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

FAQs

Q: Is 5 m appropriate for top‑of‑rack or within‑row SR4 links?
A: Yes. 5 m is ideal for short SR4 jumpers between parallel‑optic transceivers or via MPO panels in the same rack or adjacent racks.

Q: Does it work with MPO cassettes?
A: Yes, provided the cassette is wired for Type‑B polarity and MPO‑12. Check pinning and polarity of the cassette before installation.

Q: Can this be used with single‑mode DR4 optics?
A: No. This is an OM4 multimode trunk for 850 nm SR4 links. DR4/PSM4 single‑mode optics require OS2 MPO trunks.
