Description

This 800G OSFP DR8 linear pluggable optic (LPO) transceiver is a Juniper-customised common optic for 800GbE links over single-mode fibre. It suits data centre and AI/ML fabric connections on Juniper platforms with OSFP800 ports, where short-reach links of up to 500 m are needed.

The module runs 800G-DR8 over SMF at 1310 nm with a reach of up to 500 m. Connectivity is through dual MPO-12/APC receptacles, which carry the eight lanes used by DR8 operation. The linear pluggable design (LPO) is the attribute that separates this SKU from standard DSP-based DR8 optics.
