Description

This 1600W DC power supply is a 1U hot-swappable unit for the QFX5220-32CD data centre switch, part of the QFX5220 range. It suits spine and leaf data centre, enterprise, HPC, service provider and cloud deployments of the 400GbE QFX5220-32CD where the facility is DC powered, such as telco and colocation sites.

This SKU is the DC, Airflow Out (AFO, front-to-back) version with a gold handle and a DC power cable attached. It accepts a rated input of -48 to -60 VDC, with an operating range of -40 to -72 VDC, and draws a maximum of 40A. A 40A minimum circuit breaker is recommended on the -48 VDC facility source. In a QFX5220-32CD-D-AFO, the switch draws 383W on average and 877W at maximum on DC.

The gold handle identifies port-to-FRU airflow, so it must be paired with AFO fan modules such as QFX5220-32CD-FANAO and airflow directions must not be mixed. It is not interchangeable with the power supplies used in the QFX5220-128C. With two units installed in the QFX5220-32CD, 1+1 power redundancy is available.
