Description

The Catalyst 9300L Stacking Kit is the StackWise-320 backplane stacking accessory for Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink switches. It lets you join multiple switches into a single logical unit, so a stack is configured and managed as one device.

The kit provides 320 Gbps of stacking bandwidth and supports up to eight switches per stack. It uses two stack adapters and a Type 3 stacking cable, with a 0.5 m STACK-T3-50CM cable as the default length. Longer STACK-T3-1M (1 m) and STACK-T3-3M (3 m) cables are available as options where switches are spread across a rack. The 0.5 m cable has a minimum bend radius of 41 mm (1.6 in.). It is a passive accessory and needs no power supply or PoE.

This kit is for Catalyst 9300L (C9300L) SKUs only and is not for Catalyst 9300 modular uplink models, which use StackWise-480 with STACK-T1 cables. Switches in a stack must run the same licence level, either Network Essentials or Network Advantage. The kit itself needs no separate licence.
