Description

The NVIDIA H200 NVL is a Tensor Core GPU accelerator supplied by Cisco as an option for the UCS X580p PCIe Node in the Cisco UCS X-Series modular system. It is built for LLM inference and for generative AI training and fine-tuning, and suits organisations running enterprise AI workloads on-premises.

The card is a 2-slot, full-height, full-length NVL2 form factor, air-cooled PCIe Gen5 GPU with 141GB of HBM3e memory and a 600W power rating. NVLink Bridge support is available on the air-cooled design, so paired GPUs can be linked without a performance impact or power throttling per compute node. Up to four cards fit in a single UCS X580p PCIe Node, and up to eight GPUs can be deployed across a UCS X9508 chassis with two X580p nodes.

It installs in the UCS X580p PCIe Node (UCSX-580P-U), which requires UCS X9516 X-Fabric modules in a UCS X9508 chassis. It pairs with UCS X210c M8 and UCS X215c M8 compute nodes, and the host system is managed through Cisco Intersight in Intersight Managed Mode, with a minimum Essentials licence per server.
