Description

This 1600W AC power supply is a hot-swappable unit for Cisco C9350 Series Smart Switches. It is the primary power supply upgrade, ordered in place of the switch's default PSU, and uses port-inlet airflow (Config 2). It suits campus access and PoE, UPOE and UPOE+ deployments that need a larger PoE budget than the default 850W supply provides.

The unit is 80+ Titanium rated at 94% efficiency and delivers a maximum 1600W at 230V input, or 1200W at 115V input. It accepts 180V to 264V for full output and 103.5V to 132V for 1200W, drawing 12.5A maximum through an IEC 60320 C16 receptacle. Holdup time is more than 20ms at 1600W. Compared with sibling SKUs, this is the primary upgrade variant, whereas the -I is the default supply, the -I= is a spare and the -I/2 is the redundant unit.

It installs in C9350 Series chassis including the C9350-24P, 48P, 24U, 48U, 24HX, 48HX, 48HXN and 48HM. Secondary and tertiary power supplies in the same chassis do not need to match the primary, and it can be mixed with 500W, 850W and 1600W units in Combined mode.

A: No. The power supply itself requires no licence. The C9350 switch it installs in uses the Cisco Networking Subscription with Switching Essentials or Advantage licences.

Q: Which switches is it compatible with?
