Description

The IRMH-5GR16SA is a pluggable 5G Sub-6 GHz interface module for the Cisco Catalyst IR8100 Heavy Duty Series. It suits industrial IoT routing deployments that need high-capacity, low-latency cellular connectivity, such as remote fixed and mobile operations, utilities and field-area networks.

The module supports both 5G Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) modes, so it can be used on public and private networks. It is a global module, which reduces the number of regional variants a deployment has to plan around. It is CBRS and Private LTE-enabled and carries FirstNet Capable certification.

It is designed for the IR8140H-K9 and IR8140H-P-K9 routers. Because it is a pluggable module, the cellular technology can be upgraded in the field without replacing the router.
