Description

The IRM-NIM-2T1E1 is a pluggable Network Interface Module that adds T1/E1 connectivity to the Cisco Catalyst IR8300 Rugged Series Router. It suits remote fixed and mobile Industrial IoT deployments, such as utilities, transportation and oil and gas, where legacy T1/E1 circuits still need to be connected to a rugged industrial router.

This module provides 2 T1/E1 interfaces and slots into the router as a pluggable module, so T1/E1 capability can be added, swapped or upgraded in the field without replacing the whole router. It is part of the pluggable interface module range for Cisco's industrial IoT routing portfolio.

The module is supported on the Catalyst IR8340-K9 only. It is not supported on the IR1001, IR1005, IR1101, IR1833-K9, IR1835-K9, IR8140H-K9 or IR8140H-P-K9 routers, so confirm your router model before ordering.
