Description

This 800G ZR+ coherent transceiver is a pluggable digital coherent optics module in the QSFP-DD form factor, tunable across the C-band. It is built for metro and regional data centre interconnect, high-capacity single-span DCI and service provider DWDM networks, and suits Cisco Routed Optical Networking deployments.

The module uses a duplex LC connector over single-mode fibre and tunes from 1528.58 nm to 1567.34 nm. In 800G ZR+ mode it reaches 80 km unamplified and over 1000 km across amplified DWDM links, using OpenROADM interoperable PCS. It also supports 800ZR with 16QAM, 600G and 400G OpenROADM modes, and 400G OpenZR+. Client formats cover 100GE, 200GE, 400GE and 800GE, with transmit power above +1 dBm in the C-band. Case temperature range is -5 to 75 C and power is QSFP-DD type 2B compliant.

It is supported on Cisco switches and routers with QSFP-DD ports, and on 800G-capable QSFP-DD hosts. Platform and software support can be checked in the Cisco Transceiver Modules Compatibility Matrix and the Cisco Optics Product Information Matrix.
