Description

The DP04QSDD-LLH-A1 is a 400G coherent QSFP-DD pluggable from the Cisco 400G QSFP-DD Ultra Long Haul coherent optics range. It is built for regional and ultra-long-haul amplified DWDM transport, and for extending Routed Optical Networking where high-power Layer 1 transponders would otherwise be needed. Operators can also use the L-band to double existing long-haul capacity alongside C-band.

This SKU is the tunable L-band variant, covering 1570.21 nm to 1610.49 nm over single-mode fibre with a duplex LC connector. Nominal reach is over 3000 km at 400G 118 Gbaud QPSK, with 2,800 km at 112.5 GHz spacing, 2,400 km at 100 GHz, 2,000 km at 87.5 GHz and 1,500 km at 75 GHz. Transmit power is above +1 dBm, and modulation options are 400G QPSK, 16-QAM and PCS-QAM. The module is QSFP-DD Type 2A and works within the 24 W power envelope.

It is OpenROADM 7.0 and OpenZR+ MSA compliant, with CMIS 5.3 and C-CMIS 1.3 management. It is compatible with 400G-capable Cisco routers, switches and transponders, and the Cisco Product Information Matrix lists supported platforms.
