Description

The Secure Firewall 1210CE is a compact security appliance from the Secure Firewall 1200 Series, built for branch offices, small and remote sites, and retail or SMB locations that need next-generation firewall, IPS and VPN in a desktop form factor. It runs the Threat Defense (TD) software image.

The 1210CE provides eight 1000BASE-T RJ-45 data ports with no PoE and no SFP or SFP+ slots. Stateful firewall throughput is 6.5 Gbps, firewall plus AVC and NGIPS throughput are both 6.0 Gbps at 1024B, and TLS throughput is 1.0 Gbps. It supports up to 200K concurrent sessions with AVC and up to 200 VPN peers. System power draw is 40 W maximum and 32 W typical, fed from an external AC power adapter.

Threat Defense feature licences are subscription-based, with Essentials plus optional IPS, Malware Defense and URL Filtering, and are ordered separately. The appliance mounts on a desktop by default, with wall-mount and rack-shelf kits orderable as accessories, and it can be managed with Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center or Cisco Defense Orchestrator.
