Description

The Cisco Secure Firewall 240P is a compact, fanless desktop next-generation firewall from the Secure Firewall 200 Series, built for distributed enterprises and small branch offices that need cost-effective edge security, segmentation and VPN connectivity. This SKU runs Cisco ASA software and integrates PoE+ so compatible endpoints can be powered directly from the firewall.

It provides 8x 1000BASE-T ports, four of which deliver 802.3at PoE+ at up to 25.5W per port (120W total), plus 2x 1G SFP ports and a dedicated 1000BASE-T management port. With ASA software it delivers up to 4.5 Gbps of stateful inspection throughput (150B UDP) and 2 Gbps of IPsec VPN throughput, with up to 200K concurrent connections, 95K new connections per second and 75 VPN peers. Storage is 64GB and Active/Standby high availability is supported.

The unit is passively cooled and silent at 0 dBA. Rackmount and wall mount accessories are available, and 1G SFP transceivers are supported. Licences and subscriptions are ordered separately.
