Description

The C9K-PWR-1100WDC is a hot-swappable internal 1100W DC power supply module for Cisco Catalyst 9550 Series smart switches. It is Titanium-certified for power efficiency and has a port-side exhaust fan. It suits campus LAN core and distribution deployments that are powered from a DC source and need redundant power supplies.

Each C9550 chassis has two power supply slots, numbered 0 to 1 from left to right, and the module supports 1+1 redundancy. On the C9550-24L4CD and C9550-48L4CD it can be paired with a 750W AC module or a second 1100W DC module. On the C9550-96L4D it can be paired with an 1100W AC module or a second 1100W DC module. This is the 1100W DC variant, so it is the part to choose for DC-fed sites rather than the default AC supplies.

The module works with fan trays that have port-side intake (burgundy) and port-side exhaust (blue) airflow. A status LED shows normal, warning and fault states, and a blue beacon identifies the slot needing attention. An extraction handle makes replacement straightforward. Any empty power supply slot must be filled with a blank module.
