Description

The Catalyst 9200 stacking kit is built for modular-uplink Catalyst 9200 (C9200) access switches in branch and campus wiring closets. It lets you join several switches into one logical unit with a single management and control plane, which simplifies configuration and improves resiliency.

The kit provides StackWise-160 stacking with 160 Gbps of stacking bandwidth and supports up to 8 stack members, for a maximum of 384 access ports across a stack of 48-port models. It is for C9200 SKUs only, with a 0.5 m stacking cable as the default length. Optional 1 m (STACK-T4-1M) and 3 m (STACK-T4-3M) cables are available separately. Every member in the stack must run the same licence level, Network Essentials or Network Advantage, and the same software.

It works with Catalyst 9200 modular-uplink models such as the C9200-24T, 24P, 24PB, 24PXG, 48T, 48P, 48PL, 48PB and 48PXG. It does not work with C9200L, which uses the C9200L-STACK-KIT, or with C9200CX, which does not stack.
