The Cisco ONS 15216 7 dB LC inline optical attenuator is a fixed, passive accessory for single-mode fibre links. It reduces optical power on a link so the signal stays within the receiver's operating range, and it is listed by Cisco as an optical accessory for NCS 2000 and ONS 15216 DWDM systems.
