Description

This stacking kit is designed for Catalyst 9200L fixed-uplink switches, including those managed through the Meraki dashboard. It lets you join up to 8 Catalyst 9200L access switches into a single stack with one management and control plane, which suits branch and campus access closets where simpler management and greater resiliency are needed.

The Meraki variant provides two data stack adapters and one 50cm data stack cable. It uses StackWise-80 stacking with 80 Gbps of stacking bandwidth, and supports up to 384 access ports per stack. Cross-stack EtherChannel and sub-50 ms SSO failover are supported in stacked deployments. The kit is a passive accessory with no power requirement and needs no licence of its own, although all stack members must run the same licence level.

This kit works with Catalyst 9200L models only. It cannot be used with C9200 modular models, which use StackWise-160, or with C9200CX compact switches. Longer 1m (STACK-T4-1M) and 3m (STACK-T4-3M) stacking cables are available separately for racks that need extra reach.
