Description

This Arista 25G SFP28 DAC cable is a passive twinax copper direct-attach cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends. It carries 25 Gigabit Ethernet (25GBASE-CR) over a 1 metre run, and suits short-reach links between top-of-rack switches and servers or other switches within the same rack or an adjacent rack.

The cable is a passive copper design with no active electronics, so no external power is required. It is rated for 25 Gbps, uses an SFP28 to SFP28 form type with a copper transceiver type, and measures 1 m (3.3 ft) in length. The 1 m length keeps cable runs tidy in dense top-of-rack layouts.

It is intended for use with Arista switches that have SFP28 ports.
