Description

Passive direct-attach copper Y-splitter for high-density InfiniBand NDR fabrics. Breaks one 800G OSFP twin-port into two independent 400G OSFP links for short-reach, low-latency, and low-power interconnects in spine/leaf or switch-to-adapter deployments. Ideal where minimal power and latency are required versus optical links.

Features

- 800G to dual 400G passive DAC breakout for dense NDR deployments
- Ultra-low latency and near-zero power consumption
- OSFP-to-OSFP form for straightforward switch and adapter connectivity
- Reliable short-reach performance for leaf–spine and server attach
- Standards-aligned OSFP MSA mechanical and electrical interface

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

All technical data should be verified on the manufacturer data sheets.

FAQs

Q: Is this compatible with Ethernet 800G/400G OSFP ports?
A: It is designed for InfiniBand NDR. Ethernet compatibility depends on device firmware and breakout support; verify with your platform documentation.

Q: Do I need separate transceivers?
A: No, this is a passive DAC assembly with integrated OSFP ends.

Q: Can I connect OSFP to QSFP with this cable?
A: No, all ends are OSFP. Use only with OSFP ports that support the specified breakout.

Q: What is the maximum reach?
A: 3 meters for this variant.

Q: Any difference in latency vs optics?
A: Passive copper provides ultra-low latency and lower power versus optical links over short distances.
