Description

Passive copper DAC Y-cable enabling breakout from an 800Gb/s InfiniBand NDR OSFP host to two 400Gb/s OSFP device ports over a 2-meter run. Suited for ultra–low-latency connections between adjacent racks or within larger racks in HPC and AI deployments. Passive design provides zero power draw and near-zero latency with robust signal integrity across 2m.

Features

- 2m reach for flexible in/near-rack routing
- Passive copper for zero power and minimal latency
- 800G NDR to dual 400G breakout
- OSFP-to-2xOSFP for direct platform connectivity
- Built to OSFP MSA mechanical guidelines

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

FAQs

Q: Is this cable active?
A: No, it is a passive DAC splitter requiring no external power.

Q: What length is available here?
A: This variant is 2 meters long.

Q: Is it suitable for Ethernet ports?
A: It is intended for InfiniBand NDR. Ethernet compatibility depends on the host and is not guaranteed.

Q: What devices can it connect?
A: Connect one 800G NDR OSFP host port to two 400G OSFP device ports.

Q: Does the cable introduce latency?
A: Only negligible latency inherent to passive copper.
