Description

Passive copper DAC Y-cable for breaking out an 800Gb/s InfiniBand NDR OSFP port to two 400Gb/s OSFP links, featuring a flat-top OSFP shell for high-density cages. Perfect for short-reach, ultra–low-latency in-rack connections where mechanical clearance is tight. Passive design requires no power and preserves signal integrity over 1 meter.

Features

- Flat-top OSFP shell for high-density switch cages
- 800G-to-dual-400G NDR breakout in a single assembly
- Passive copper construction for zero power and minimal latency
- 1m short reach ideal for in-rack cabling
- OSFP MSA-compliant mechanicals

FAQs

Q: What does flat-top mean on this cable?
A: Flat-top refers to a low-profile OSFP shell optimized for switches/adapters with tight mechanical clearance or specific cage designs.

Q: Is it active or passive?
A: It is a passive copper DAC splitter; no power is required.

Q: Can it be used for Ethernet?
A: It targets InfiniBand NDR. Ethernet use is not guaranteed; consult your platform documentation.

Q: What is the length?
A: 1 meter.

Q: Which side is the 800G end?
A: The single OSFP end mates to the 800G NDR twin-port host; the two OSFP ends mate to 400G devices.
