Description

Passive copper DAC engineered for InfiniBand NDR fabrics, providing up to 800Gb/s aggregate bandwidth (2x 400G NDR) across OSFP twin-port interfaces. The 2m reach offers added flexibility for cross-rack or farther in-rack runs while maintaining ultra-low latency and zero-power operation. Finned-top ends support effective cooling in high-airflow deployments.

Features

- Up to 800Gb/s aggregate bandwidth for NDR fabrics
- 2m reach for flexible in-rack or adjacent-rack routing
- Passive copper for ultra-low latency and near-zero power
- Finned-top ends optimized for air-cooled deployments
- Standards-aligned OSFP twin-port implementation

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

All technical data should be verified on the manufacturer data sheets.

FAQs

Q: How does a 2m passive DAC compare to 1m?
A: 2m provides additional routing flexibility at a slight increase in insertion loss, still suitable for short NDR reaches within vendor guidelines.

Q: Is it compatible with OSFP NDR ports on switches and adapters?
A: Yes. It is designed for OSFP twin-port InfiniBand NDR interfaces.

Q: Are active components used in this cable?
A: No. It is a passive copper DAC with zero-power operation.

Q: Does it support Ethernet 800G?
A: It targets InfiniBand NDR. Use only with ports/protocols that explicitly support it.

Q: What thermal design do the ends use?
A: Finned-top ends to enhance cooling in high-airflow racks.
