Description

High-density passive copper DAC for InfiniBand NDR links, delivering up to 800Gb/s aggregate bandwidth (2x 400G NDR) between OSFP twin-port interfaces. The 1m length is ideal for top-of-rack to adjacent device connections, providing ultra-low latency, zero-power operation, and robust signal integrity for HPC and AI clusters. Finned-top ends support high-airflow environments in performance racks.

Features

- Up to 800Gb/s aggregate bandwidth for dense NDR fabrics
- Passive copper design for zero power and ultra-low latency
- OSFP twin-port modules ensure simple, robust connectivity
- Finned-top ends optimized for high-airflow deployments
- Ideal for short-reach HPC/AI interconnects within a rack

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

All technical data should be verified on the manufacturer data sheets.

FAQs

Q: Is this cable compatible with OSFP NDR ports?
A: Yes. It is designed for OSFP twin-port InfiniBand NDR interfaces on switches and adapters.

Q: Does this cable split into two separate connectors?
A: No. It is an OSFP twin-port to OSFP twin-port DAC; both ends are single OSFP modules carrying 2x NDR ports internally.

Q: When should I choose finned vs flat-top ends?
A: Use finned ends in high-airflow, air-cooled racks. Flat tops are preferred in tight spaces, liquid-cooled nodes, or where heatsink height is constrained.

Q: Can this be used for Ethernet 800G links?
A: It is tuned for InfiniBand NDR. Use only with OSFP ports and protocols that explicitly support it.

Q: What is the recommended reach for this passive copper cable?
A: This model is 1m and intended for very short-reach in-rack connections.
