FAQs

Q: Can this ACC be used on Ethernet 800G OSFP ports?
A: It is designed for InfiniBand NDR ports. Use only on platforms specifying NDR OSFP breakout support.

Q: Are separate transceivers required?
A: No. This is an active copper direct-attach assembly with integrated OSFP ends.

Q: What is the maximum reach?
A: 4 meters for this variant.

Q: Does it support QSFP112 or QSFP56 ports?
A: No. It uses OSFP on all ends and requires OSFP NDR-capable ports.

Q: ACC vs AOC—what’s the difference?
A: ACC uses copper for very low latency and cost at short reach; AOC uses fiber for longer distances but with slightly higher latency.
