FAQs

Q: What applications suit the 1.5 m length?
A: Ideal for same-rack and adjacent devices where 0.5 m is too short but 2 m may create slack.

Q: Is this cable hot-pluggable?
A: Yes. OSFP AOCs are hot-pluggable; follow your platform’s procedures for safe insertion and removal.

Q: Can this connect an OSFP port to a QSFP port?
A: No. Both ends are OSFP and must be inserted into OSFP ports.

Q: Does it require special configuration?
A: Typically no; the link should come up automatically when inserted into supported OSFP NDR ports.

Q: How should I manage bending and routing?
A: Avoid sharp bends and strain; use gentle routing and follow platform bend-radius guidelines for AOCs.
