Description

Short-reach 400G active optical cable for NDR InfiniBand environments. The OSFP-to-OSFP AOC uses 850 nm MMF for low latency and clean signal integrity. Flat-top heatsink variant fits dense chassis with limited vertical clearance. Ideal for same-rack links on NVIDIA Quantum-2/ConnectX-7 OSFP platforms.

Features

400G NDR bandwidth in a compact 0.5 m form
- Flat-top heatsink for dense, low-clearance port areas
- Low-latency 850 nm MMF optics integrated into the cable
- No separate transceivers reduces complexity and cost
- DDM/DOM monitoring for easy diagnostics
- Optimized for NVIDIA OSFP NDR ports (Quantum-2, ConnectX-7)

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

FAQs

Q: Why choose the flat-top (FLT) version?
A: FLT provides a low-profile heatsink for enclosures with tight vertical clearance or when finned heatsinks may interfere with adjacent ports.

Q: Does this AOC support breakout (e.g., 4×100G)?
A: No. This is a straight 400G OSFP-to-OSFP assembly. Use a breakout-specific cable for split configurations.

Q: Is any additional fiber patching required?
A: No. As an AOC, the fiber is integrated; simply plug each OSFP end into the device port.

Q: Can it be used across racks?
A: Yes, provided the link distance is within 0.5 m. For longer runs, select a longer AOC length from the same series.

Q: How do I verify platform compatibility?
A: Confirm that your switch/NIC OSFP ports support 400G NDR AOCs with the appropriate vendor coding.
