Description

Ultra-short 400G active optical cable for NDR InfiniBand. OSFP-to-OSFP assembly with 850 nm MMF delivers low latency and clean signal paths for in-chassis and same-rack interconnects. Optimized for NVIDIA Quantum-2 and ConnectX-7 OSFP ports in dense HPC and AI deployments.

Features

Compact 0.5 m length minimizes slack and latency
- 400G NDR bandwidth for top-of-rack and in-chassis links
- Integrated optics reduce points of failure and simplify cabling
- Low EMI and robust signal integrity over MMF
- DDM/DOM monitoring for proactive operations
- Thermally optimized finned heatsink for standard OSFP cages

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

FAQs

Q: Where is a 0.5 m OSFP AOC typically used?
A: Very short in-chassis or same-rack links where minimal slack and the lowest latency are desired.

Q: Is it physically compatible with QSFP-based HDR/EDR ports?
A: No. OSFP and QSFP cages are different form factors.

Q: Does it require separate transceivers?
A: No. As an AOC, optics are integrated—no additional transceivers or patch cords are needed.

Q: Can it be field-terminated or re-connectorized?
A: No. AOCs are factory-terminated assemblies.

Q: Will it work on 400G Ethernet switches?
A: It can when the switch supports OSFP AOCs with compatible coding. Check the switch vendor’s AOC compatibility list.
