Description

High‑density 100G QSFP28 short‑reach optical transceiver for leaf‑spine and TOR aggregation. Implements 4x25G lanes over multimode fiber with an MPO‑12 interface, delivering low‑latency, low‑power links inside racks and rows. Digital diagnostics (DOM) enable proactive monitoring. Supports 4x25G breakout with an MTP‑to‑LC harness where switch ports allow.

Features

High‑density QSFP28 design for 100G aggregation
- Low power and low latency for in‑rack and row‑level links
- Digital diagnostics for proactive monitoring
- Breakout‑capable to 4x25G where platform supports
- MPO‑based cabling for rapid deployment and clean cable management

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

FAQs

Q: What fiber and connector are required?
A: Use OM3 or OM4 multimode fiber and an MPO‑12/MTP trunk. OM4 supports up to 100 m, OM3 up to 70 m.

Q: Can this module break out to 4x25G?
A: Yes. With an MTP‑to‑4xLC harness and a switch or NIC that supports 4x25G breakout.

Q: Does it support DOM/diagnostics?
A: Yes. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) is supported for real‑time link metrics.

Q: Is it compatible with 100GbE and InfiniBand EDR?
A: It is 100GbE compliant and interoperates with compatible 100G (EDR‑class) platforms that accept QSFP28 SR4 optics.
